Garlic Confit

Here's a recipe that produces two different ingredients. The garlic will have a milder and sweeter flavor. You are able to use it in any dishes. The second is the garlic infused olive oil.


1/2 cup olive oil

8 to 10 cloves garlic, peeled


Preheat oven to 250℉.

In a small baking dish, place oil and garlic, making sure oil covers garlic.

Bake until garlic is golden in color, about 1 1/2 hours. Let cool for about 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
