As you know, I am no baker. Here's a brownie recipe that doesn't use a premade mix
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add the melted butter to the sugars and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Fold in the chocolate chips ( and nuts is desired).
Pour the batter into the prepared bakig pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few crumbs. (Not Wet Batter).
Allow borwnies to cool completely in the pan before serving.
Enjoy!!!
